The Role
A Series B fintech company is building out their data platform and looking for a Senior Data Engineer to help architect and scale their data infrastructure. You will work alongside a small data team to build the pipelines and platform that power their analytics, ML models and product features.
Key Responsibilities
Design and build scalable data pipelines using modern data stack tools
Own and develop the company's dbt models and data warehouse
Build and maintain data orchestration workflows using Airflow or similar
Collaborate with analysts and data scientists to deliver reliable data products
Implement data quality monitoring and observability practices
Contribute to data platform architecture decisions
Requirements
5+ years data engineering experience
Strong SQL and Python skills
Hands-on dbt experience in production
Experience with a cloud data warehouse — Snowflake, BigQuery or Redshift
Data orchestration experience — Airflow, Prefect or Dagster
Familiarity with streaming data — Kafka or Kinesis advantageous
Right to work in the United Kingdom
